Dubstep Fever

I’ve been recently addicted to the relatively new dance genre of Dubstep.  For those of you who are not familiar, think of old-school drum & bass + deep-African-chanting-borderline-meditative beats + occasional heavy metal rhythms, its kinda hard to put into words…except that it is devastatingly sick!!

I’m really happy that it has been recognized by mainstream dance media for the last year or so (listen to this essential mix by Benga on BBC – available ’till Sunday) – by the way, you must download his track with Coki, called “Night” …there are a couple mixes out there, but I still love the original~ he has to be currently one of the most talented producers!!

But where can I hear a good Dubstep session in NYC?
